Honeywell
Flour Mills, the co-sponsor of Vision of the Child(VoTC) 2016 has
rewarded the winner of ‘Honeywell in SisiEko’s Kitchen Picture Contest’
and six other kids who displayed exceptional ability in literary arts at
the award dinner which held at Civic center.
The
winner of the picture contest received a prize of N100,000.00 Honeywell
Products and other exciting gifts, the Kids also received cash prizes
ranging from N75,000.00 to N150,000.00. All contestants and kids present
also went home with Honeywell products and other notable gifts.
All the winners were
grateful to Honeywell and VoTC for the gifts and a well-organized event. The
winner of the Sisi Eko picture contest Akinola Oluwatoyin particularly lauded
Honeywell for making good its promise.
Speaking at the event,
the Managing Director, Honeywell Flour Mills Plc MrOlanrewajuJaiyeola
represented by Executive Director Marketing, Mr Benson Evbuomwan stated the
Honeywell is proud to play a leading role in championing the intellectual
development of children and the growth of literary art in primary and secondary
schools. Being the leaders of tomorrow, it is essential for parents to help
bring out the unique talents in their children with a view to equipping them to
be able to take advantage of future opportunities.

programs aimed at developing children and young adults especially in the areas

The event was well
attended. A few notable dignitaries include Executive Governor of Lagos State,
AkinwunmiAmbode, Deputy Governor, Lagos State Dr (Mrs) OlurantiAdebule,
Professor Wole Soyinka, EreluAbiolaDosunmu amongst others.
