President Muhammadu Buhari attended the Mini Durbar in celebration of the 10th anniversary of Sultan of Sokoto Alhaji Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar III in Sokoto state on Saturday, November 5.
The celebration which held at Polo Grounds was attended by dignitaries such as Senate president Bukola Saraki, the Emir of Kano Lamido Sanusi, Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto state and others.

The Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah was in attendance
Former president Olusegun Obasanjo was also in attendance. He was spotted wearing flowing regalia of the northern monarchs and he rode on horse like one of them.
Earlier, Buhari commissioned the 500-unit Kalambaina Housing Estate completed by the administration of Governor Tambuwal.
