Their abduction has been confirmed by the police in the state which says it is joined by vigilante groups and hunters in a search and rescue effort
The police has announced the abduction of two Chinese nationals attached to West African Polaris.
The victims were kidnapped at Agada village, Nasarawa local government area of Nasarawa state.
The state police command confirmed the development as reported by the News Agency of Nigeria on Saturday, August 6, 2016 in Lafia, the state capital.
According to him, police officers have begun investigation to track the abductors, who have not made any contact with associates of the victims.
The police is being assisted by vigilante groups, local hunters and community leaders in the search in the search of the victims.
He pleaded with residents of the area to help with information that could lead to the rescue of the victims and stop criminality.
Kidnapping is a major criminal activity occurring in many states of the federal and, according to analysts, it has continued to thrive as the country faces serious economic crisis, high unemployment rate and effective leadership challenge.
Earlier in the week, the member representing Mashi/Dutsi federal constituency at the House of Representatives, who was kidnapped from his farm days ago, regained freedom after paying N10 million.
On August 1, Dr Reginald Ohiri, a lecturer in the department of Biochemistry, University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT), was abducted by unknown gunmen who reportedly forced their way into his compound through the gate.
The kidnappers thereafter established contact with the family of the victim and demanding N2 million ransom for his release.
Recently, the United States issued a travelling alert to its citizens to avoid states including Adamawa, Bauchi, Bayelsa, Borno, Delta, Edo, Gombe, Imo, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Kogi, Niger, Plateau, Rivers, Sokoto, Yobe and Zamfara.
It recommended only essential travel to the states warning about the rise in kidnapping and other related crimes.
