Buhari is inefficient - Says PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is accusing the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) of refusing to understand the challenges facing the country

The opposition party also slammed the President Muhammadu Buhari administration for being reportdely obsessed with frivolities

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has fired another shot at the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) saying the latter was not helping the country with its style of government.

This recent attack from the PDP comes amid serious criticisms of the President Muhammadu Buhari government by the citizens.

The current government is being accused of scaling up the cost of living through its refusal to act on the country’s sliding economy and poor performance of the 2016 budget.

Members of the president’s cabinet have continued to assure the people that they would soon have cause to be happy with the government, but the PDP does not think so.

An earlier accusation from the opposition party resulted in a punching reaction from the national chairman of the APC, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, who alleged that the PDP could not account for N33trillion in oil revenue in the five years of former President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration.

The Punch reports that in a further reaction, Prince Dayo Adeyeye, the current spokesperson of the PDP, said in Abuja that Oyegun’s allegation had again portrayed the APC as being “dangerously obsessed with the frivolity of bamboozling Nigerians with high-sounding figures only for entertainment purposes.

“Unfortunately, such avoidable mischief especially on issues bordering on the nation’s economy, has continued to hunt the image of our Nation at a time we are in desperate need of investment from the international community.”
