On Tuesday, August 16, popular Nigerian music star Davido has been reported to be in trouble with the organzers of the Festival of India concert, as he failed to show up for the event that took place on Saturday, August 13, in Lagos.
According to Punch, who contacted the chief organizer of the event Bolaji Rosiji, he disclosed that it was premature to say much on the development, other vital sources noted that the contract between the Festival of India and the artiste could run into N7m.
He further disclosed that, a day to the event Friday, August 12, Davido called to inform them that he was indisposed and would not be available. Adding that, they have gotten in touch with Davido’s lawyer so they can refund the N7m payment.
However, all efforts to reach Davido or his manager in order to confirm this report have proved abortive.
