Says his administration has done well for the Ekiti people

Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state says the people of Ekiti state will forever remember him due the infrastructural projects executed by his administration.

The governor, speaking in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital on Tuesday, August, 23 said his rising political profile was as a result of his close affinity with people of the state, Daily Post reports.

Fayose said: “Whatever you sow you shall reap. If you do good for the people, you will get goodness. I have done well for Ekiti people.

“Look at the Amphi-theatre I built in Ewi’s palace, the dual carriageway from Basiri to Ajilosun, the ongoing flyover, the Awedele dualisation and many others. All these are the projects that are speaking for me and the people will continue to remember me for good.”

In another development, the former governor of Edo state, Prof. Oserheimen Osunbor has lashed out at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for trying to force him to distribute state fund to members of the party.

Vanguard reports that Osunbor made this allegation at the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign rally in Iruekpen, Esan West local government area ahead of the September 10 governorship election in the state.

The former governor who has defected to the APC said the PDP declared him disloyal to the party after he failed to loot state fund and described it as an evil party.
