After months of speculation Jhene Aiko has filed for divorce from her husband Dot Da Genius after 11 months of marriage
American soul singer Jhene Aiko, 28 has filed for divorce from her husband Dot Da Genius (Oladipo Omishore) after 11 months of marriage.
Aiko filed for divorce on Tuesday, August 9, 2016, and cited "irreconcilable differences" as her reason. She also asked the judge to deny spousal support for music producer Dot Da Genius.
According to documents which were obtained by E! Jhene Aiko and Dot Da Genius July 26, 2014 and were separated on June 2015.
For months, Jhene Aiko has been romantically tied with rapper Big Sean. The pair were pictured sharing a passionate kiss on stage following a July 4 performance marking America's Independence day.
On April 11, 2016 Big Sean and Jhene Aiko released a short-length film based off their collaborative album and in the film there are some eye raising scenes. Shortly after this rumours that the two artistes are dating begin to swirl.
In June 2016 they give what is described as a steamy performance on the Late Late Show With James Corden. They still denied that they are dating.
