An elderly woman has just been arrested in Niger state, for begging from street-to-street with rented babies.
The woman identified as Adiza Umoru, was arrested by the officials of the Lagos State Ministry of Youth and Social Development, for making use of innocent babies to beg for alms on the streets.
Adiza Umoru claimed that her younger sister, Aminat is the biological mother of the babies and she pays her whenever she uses them to beg. Having said that, all the police are still in search of Aminat in order confirm the statement of her sister.
