Snapchat celebrity and Nigerian male Barbie, Bobrisky, has finally addressed rumours that he is gay.
In a recent interview with Celeb Police, the popular gender bender opened up for the first time about his true self while also slamming those claiming he is gay.
Born Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju, Bobrisky said:
“When Nigerians talk about the whole 14 years thing, I just sit down and be like why are some Nigerians so stupid, because the law does not say if u look and appear girly you would go to jail. The law said gay marriage and I have never come out there and say I am getting married to a guy neither have I said I want to marry a guy.”.
The bleaching expert claimed he only dresses like a woman to attract clients for his business.
“The fact that I look and act like a girl does not mean I am gay, I am only doing this to survive, because it is the best I can do. I only think of how to get clients to patronize me.”
He concluded by saying:
“In the next ten years, I want to have a family – my kids, my wife and I. I want to be a crowd puller and that name, Bobrisky to keep flowing for eternity.”
Bobrisky dresses like a lady with professional make-up on, posts photos of his clothes including how much he bought them as well photos from parties and club-hopping. He runs a fashion boutique in Lagos.
His signature look is hyper feminine – with full-on makeup, long pointed faux nails, weaves, fake lashes, coloured eye contacts… and he constantly pouts his lips in every video. He recently got a replica of one of Rihanna’s tattoos.
The Nigerian male Barbie set social media ablaze once when he shared snapshots of N7 million allegedly given to him by his bae.
Meanwhile, many might be wondering who Bobrisky’s bae that has been giving him so much money can be. The Nigerian Barbie doll who spoke about getting married in the next 10 years has revealed who his bae is via his Snap chat. He explained how he met his bae in Abuja Transcorp hotel. Read on:
“I actually met with bae two years ago, and we met in Abuja. That morning, my friend (Tolu) called me that she has an interview in Abuja that would I love to follow her?
I said no, but she insisted Idris let’s go. Then I was still very dark ‘I was Chocolate’. So I went to Abuja.
So, my friend’s boyfriend lodged us at Transcorp Hotel in Abuja, the guy happens to like me because I am very close to his girlfriend.
That same night, bae happened have a party in Transcorp, we went for dinner and so I saw bae ordering for plenty food for his guest. And way back then I was a very shy person. So bae looked at me and said ‘baby boy how are you’, so I responded, I said I am fine sir.
He now said, ‘how old I am’, I smiled. He said which school did you attend and I was really really shy because I saw him with plenty police all over him and I was scared, but my friend Tolu left me with him.
Then bae asked after my parent and why I was in Abuja, after all the questions and answers he left me to go to my room and gave me his number and said he would like to talk to me the next day.
The following morning he asked me who Tolu was and so I told him Tolu was my elder sister, he asked for her full name and gave her 1 million cheque that both of us should share.
It was like a dream. We got to Lagos and share the money.”
