EXPOSED: Presidency not probing Abba Kyari, clears Buratai

Sahara Reporters is reporting that earlier claims that the Presidency is investigating alleged corrupt practices by some of the kitchen cabinet of President Muhammadu Buhari are totally untrue.

According to the online news platform, the presidency is not probing President Buhari’s chief of staff Abba Kyari.

It claimed that the reports of investigations was a grand conspiracy by security forces, a lawyer in the presidency and the media to pass off the false report as true.

It however reported that presidency has carried out probes into other contentious issues like  Chief of Army Staff General Tukur BurataI’s Dubai property, the Central Bank of Nigeria hiring scam and the issues with the minister of interior Dambazzau and cleared them all of wrongdoings.

Earlier, it was reported that President Buhari had ordered the Special Investigation Panel of the Nigerian Police Force to investigate Abba Kyari over bribery accusations.

The investigation might not be unconnected to the supposed N500million bribery money said to have been paid to the Kyari by the officials of South African owned MTN Telecommunications Company with the intent that the chief of staff effect on the incumbent government to discontinue its heavy position on the $5billion fine.

This has now been declared untrue by Sahara Reporters.

Meanwhile, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has lamented that corruption had permeated every stratum of the Nigerian society.

Osinbajo also blamed corruption for poverty and other challenges facing the nation.

The vice president spoking in Ado Ekiti on Friday, October 21, during the 016 convocation ceremonies of the Afe Babalola University, said the present administration’s fight against corruption will touch every sector in the society, the Punch reports.
