#1. Touch face
If someone is sitting across from you, talking, and you feel like they could be lying to you, take note of how often they touch their face. A liar will usually touch their face, particularly nose and mouth, more often than normal.
#2. Lips
The lips that border the mouth telling the lies can often be a really good sign that a lie is being told. If these lips are pursed, the person could be subconsciously giving you a pretty good indication that they don’t really mean it.
#3. Dilated pupil
There are a few reasons why someone’s pupils might dilate but if you think the person you are talking to is not under the influence and their eyes are dilated, it’s a pretty good indication that they could be lying. It is totally involuntary unlike some of the things on this list which can be masked.
#4. Repeat
When someone is lying to you in response to a question you have asked them, they will quite often respond by repeating part of your question. As in, “Did you take my phone?” Response: “No I did not take your phone”. Although it is not a guarantee, it is more probable that a person telling the truth will simple say “no”.
