On Monday, August 15, a driver identified as Sunday Agbariko was reported to have crushed the leg of a Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) official, Olayemi Isiaka.
Sunday committed this offense at the Ojota yard of the LASTMA’s office while attempting to escape with his car that had already been impounded for reckless driving. He was said to have asked one of the officials to give him his car key, saying he wanted to take some vital documents.
Punch reports that, Sunday immediately entered his car, turned on the ignition and in his mission to escape, he crushed the LASTMA official’s leg that was standing by the gate. Isiaka was rushed to the emergency ward of the National Orthopaedic hospital, Igbobi.
